BOYER MOUNTAIN LOOKOUT
R.I.P. 1937-1975
Developed in 1925 with a log cabin and platform observation tower on the south end of the summit, a cupola cabin was constructed on the north end in 1929. Then a 72' treated timber L-6 tower along with frame cabin living quarters were built on the south summit in 1937. The tower was toppled by vandals in 1975 and never replaced. Known lookout personnel: 1957-1958: Earle Gray.
