WILDHORSE LOOKOUT
Developed in 1935 with a 40' pole tower topped by a gable-roof L-4 cab, this 40' treated timber L-4 tower built in 1947 was last staffed by the Coos FPA in 1998. The cab collapsed under heavy snow during the winter of 2007/2008. The Sand Mountain Society began work on the tower the following summer, removing the crumbled cab. Presently only the superstructure is standing.
