RUSSEL MOUNTAIN LOOKOUT
Established about 1921 with a 50' pole tower and open cab, the present 82' treated timber tower was built in 1949 with an open platform on top. The L-4 cab was added in 1950. Now available for emergencies, the tower was threatened by a forest fire in the 1990's.
