Built in 1963 to replace the neighboring Long Ridge L.O. which was destroyed in the Columbus Day 1962 hurricane, this 41' treated timber R-6 flat was available on the Recreation Rental program until being damaged by a storm several years ago. It is listed on the National Historic Lookout Register.
