This D-6 cupola cabin, built in 1927, is one of the few remaining examples still in existance, and is still staffed in the summer! A garage was added in 1937, but converted to living quarters for the Aircraft Warning Service in 1942. The cupola cabin is listed on the National Historic Lookout Register.
