MOUNT HENRY LOOKOUT
A camp lookout was established here in 1910, followed by a stone and frame cupola cabin in 1925. The present 10' pole tower with L-4 cab was built in 1942, and is staffed during emergencies. The legs and shutter support system were rebuilt in the late 1980's. Listed on the National Historic Lookout Register, the tower was threatened by a forest fire in 1994. Some maintenance has occurred in recent years.
