MCCART MOUNTAIN LOOKOUT
Built in 1939, this 10' pole tower topped with an L-4 cab at the end of the north spur below the summit, was staffed into the mid-1980's when it was replaced by nearby Teepee Point Lookout. McCart was refurbished in the 1990's and added to the Recreation Rental program. It is listed on the National Historic Lookout Register and National Register of Historic Places.
