DESCHUTES LOOKOUT
R.I.P. 1942-1968
A 100' wooden tower with 8x8' cab was built in the 1930's, replaced by this 50' wooden tower with 9x9' AWS cab in 1942. It was followed by a 112' all steel tower in 1968, which was destroyed in Army practice bombing in 1994.
