WALKER MOUNTAIN LOOKOUT
One of the four original permanent lookout stations on the Deschutes, Walker's stone and wood cabin was built in 1917, making it the oldest administrative structure on the forest. The 35-foot steel tower with L-4 cab was built in 1932. The lookout is listed is listed on the National Historic Lookout Register.
