Developed about 1933 with an L-5 cab located 500' below the present tower, this 20' treated timber R-6 flat was constructed in 1961 1/4 mile northwest of the ridgetop at an unusual sidehill location. It is staffed in the summer and available on the Recreation Rental program in the offseason.
