Developed in 1916 with a cabin, a cupola was added in 1928. Then in 1950, an L-4 cab from nearby Maple Peak, where it had been built in 1938, was moved to the summit. This was quickly replaced by 10' concrete base with R-6 cab in 1957. It was destroyed in 1975.
