LINDROOS HILL LOOKOUT
R.I.P. 1933-1955
One of the more unique lookouts in Idaho, the tower was built only two hundred feet above the valley, overlooking the town of Mullan. A major U.S. highway ran right by the lookout, and the tower had a gravity-fed water system from a spring up the ridge. The 25' pole tower with L-4 cab was built in 1933, and removed in 1955. Today Interstate 90 runs right through the exact spot the tower once stood.
