First used in 1933, the original lookout was a 20' pole tower with L-4 cab. A 20' treated timber tower with R-6 flat cab was built in 1975. It was staffed up to the 1995 season, then moved to emergency status. The tower was auctioned off in 2013 and removed by a private party in October 2014.
