First used about 1920 with a crow's nest observation platform, a 60' pole tower with 7x7' cab was constructed from 1928-1931. In addition, there were also patrol points 1.5 miles southwest atop Treasure Mtn. and 1.5 miles east along the ridgetop. The tower was removed in 1950.
